Krug Grande Cuvee Champagne Gift with Artisan Chocolate Truffles (16 Pieces)

Krug is unlike any other Champagne house: it makes only prestige cuvées, no entry-level wine, and the Grande Cuvée is the wine that defines it. Rather than chase a single great harvest, Krug builds each release from scratch every year - the 173rd Edition blends 150 different wines from 13 separate years, the oldest dating back to 2001, with nearly a third drawn from the house's vast library of reserve wines.

That is what gives Krug its extraordinary depth. The wines are fermented in small oak casks and aged for around seven years in the cellars before release, building the richness, layered complexity and length that no single-year Champagne can reach. Led by Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay and Meunier, it is generous and intricate in equal measure.

Here it's paired with 16 sea salt caramel truffles from Willie's Cacao - the British bean-to-bar pioneer - their molten centres a fitting match for a Champagne of this richness.
