The LSA story

LSA International is a London design studio that has been making contemporary glass for over fifty years. The look is clean and modern - angular bowls, fine rims, hand-drawn stems. Some pieces are mouth-blown by hand, others made to a precise contemporary design, but all of it is built to be lived with: good enough to bring out for a celebration, robust enough for everyday.

The ranges we stock

Our LSA selection spans three signature ranges. The Metropolitan flutes and wine glasses are tall and angular in lead-free crystalline glass; the mouth-blown Savoy flutes are a hand-made step up; and the Folk tumblers and vases carry a bold pattern drawn from traditional Polish design. The making differs across the range, and so does the care. The Metropolitan pieces are crystalline glass and dishwasher-safe on a low-temperature cycle, while the mouth-blown Savoy, Folk and Arran pieces are hand-made, so LSA recommend hand-washing them in warm, soapy water to keep them clear. Either way, a finger-width of space between glasses protects them in the cupboard and the rack.
