All Wine

Red, white and rosé, with California unusually well covered

Wine weighted towards the places we know best rather than spread thinly across all of them. California is the deepest part of the list - Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, Joseph Phelps, Ridge and Pisoni among them - followed by Tuscany, with Tignanello and Tenuta Luce. France, Spain, New Zealand and South Africa fill in from there. Everything is sorted by style as well as by country, so you can navigate by what a wine tastes like rather than only where it was grown. Tracked UK delivery, next-day available.

The regions our wine list goes deepest on

A general wine list can go a mile wide or a few places deep, and this one goes deep. Californian wine is the largest part of it - Napa Cabernet from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and Joseph Phelps, Zinfandel from Ridge, Pinot Noir from Pisoni in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Tuscany follows, with Tignanello and Tenuta Luce. France covers Provence rosé and Champagne; Spain, New Zealand and South Africa fill in from there. Nowhere is on the list with a single token bottle.

Buying wine by style rather than by country

Most people choose a wine by how they want it to taste, not by where it was grown, so the range is grouped both ways. Reds run from light and elegant through smooth and refined to bold and powerful. Whites run from crisp and bright through pure and elegant to rich and opulent. The groupings are about weight and texture rather than quality - a light red is not a lesser one.

Grape varieties across the red and white wine range

Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the three largest groups, which follows directly from how much California is on the list. Sangiovese covers the Tuscan reds and Tempranillo the Spanish. Among the whites there is Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, Chenin Blanc from South Africa, and smaller groups of Albariño, Cortese and Grenache Blanc. Blends are common at the top end, and where a producer publishes the exact composition it is shown on the product page.

Wine gifts and tracked UK delivery

Wine bought to drink ships in packaging built to protect the bottle rather than to present it. Where a bottle is going as a gift, the Champagne gifts range covers the boxed and ribboned side of the shop, finished with our signature large hand-tied ribbon and a message card. Orders go tracked across the UK mainland with next-day available.

The Fulham Wine Co. Take

A general wine list works when every bottle on it could justify its own page. Ours is narrow on purpose - deep in California and Tuscany, where we buy with the most conviction, rather than one bottle from everywhere. Everything on it is something we drink ourselves.

FAQs About All Wine

Where do I start if I do not know what I want?

Pick a weight before you pick a country. Decide whether you want something light or something full, and use the style groupings rather than the region pages. That narrows a long list to a handful of bottles far faster than working through grapes or regions one at a time.

What does the list cover besides red and white?

Rosé is a proper part of it rather than a summer afterthought, led by Provence and Whispering Angel. Champagne is the largest single category on the site and has its own pages. There is also a small sparkling selection outside Champagne.

How should I store wine at home without a cellar?

Cool, dark, steady and lying down. A steady fifteen degrees is better than a cold place that swings between ten and twenty, so the bottom of a wardrobe on an internal wall usually beats a kitchen rack or a garage. Light and vibration do more damage than most people expect.

Can I mix bottles from different parts of the range in one order?

Yes. Anything on the site can go in the same order regardless of which collection it sits in, and it is packed together. Delivery is tracked across the UK mainland with next-day available.
