Meerlust is one of South Africa’s most historic estates, producing fine wines on the banks of the Eerste River just south of Stellenbosch since 1756. The cool maritime influence from nearby False Bay helps preserve freshness and aromatics in the Pinot Noir, while the estate’s meticulous vineyard work and traditional winemaking have earned it an international reputation for quality.

The 2023 vintage of Meerlust Pinot Noir is bright and expressive, with layers of red cherry, raspberry and a touch of earthy spice, carried by fine tannins and a supple, silky texture. Gentle oak ageing adds depth without overpowering the vibrant fruit, creating a Pinot that’s both refined and deliciously approachable.
