Taittinger is the Chardonnay house. Where most Champagnes lean on Pinot Noir, Brut Réserve is built on around 40% Chardonnay - an unusually high proportion for a non-vintage, and the source of the lightness and finesse that define the Taittinger style. The rest is Pinot Noir and Meunier, giving it body behind the elegance.

It's aged for three to four years on the lees before release, well beyond what's required, which is where the soft brioche note behind the citrus and white fruit comes from. The result is fresh and refined rather than rich - a Champagne that flatters almost anyone, and gives well for exactly that reason.

Willie’s Cacao Sea Salt Caramel Truffles
