Cortese is grown almost entirely in Piedmont, and almost entirely to make Gavi. Broglia's La Meirana comes from the commune of Gavi itself, as does the Produttori del Gavi bottling - the tighter of the two designations. Dry, light and citrus-driven in both cases.
