The Grand Cru Vintage is made only in the strongest years, from an equal-parts blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown entirely on Champagne's Grand Cru sites - the finest classified terroir the region has. The Chardonnay brings finesse and a mineral backbone; the Pinot Noir gives it body and depth.

It's aged for several years in Pommery's chalk cellars beneath Reims, which is what builds the fine, persistent bead and the layered complexity a vintage Champagne is prized for.
