Moët's Grand Vintage is made only in years the house chooses to declare, and 2016 is the 77th in its history. Where the familiar Moët is blended for consistency, a Grand Vintage is the chef de cave's reading of one particular season - here led by Chardonnay at nearly half the blend, which gives it a finer, more precise character than the non-vintage.

2016 was a difficult, contrary growing year that came good late, and the wine has spent around six years on the lees developing depth. This set pairs it with two lead-free crystal flutes, so it arrives complete and ready to pour - a gift with a bit more to say than the everyday bottle.
